Join us for the traditional Eichah (Book of Lamentations) reading followed by a film screening of a thought provoking, award winning, contemporary film.
“Son of Saul” Winner of the Grand Prize at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival, this acclaimed Hungarian drama, set in Auschwitz, is directed and co-written by László Nemes and stars Géza Röhrig as a member of the camp’s Sonderkommando unit (Jewish prisoners who were forced to lead fellow victims to the gas chambers).
