On behalf of YJP BOSTON, Prominent psychologist Dr. Edith Eger will discuss her book "The Choice: Embrace the Possible". "The Choice" is a moving, powerful memoir that recounts her time in the concentration camps of the Holocaust. She weaves her personal account with case studies from her practice, illustrating different phases of healing and forgiveness, and how people can escape their mental prisons and be joyous and free.

Dr. Edith Eger, one of the few living Holocaust survivors, was sent to Auschwitz in 1944 at 16 years old, where she endured unimaginable experiences, including being ordered to dance for the infamous Dr. Josef Mengele.

Her story is an inspiration for everyone. Dr. Eger is an inspiring speaker, human dignity advocate & award winning author. Her book - "The Choice" is a powerful, moving memoir, and a practical guide to healing which uses her past as a powerful analogy to inspire people to reach their potential and shape their destinies.
